I write books that are beyond words. Every letter a story, every space a voice, every book a universe. You are the story, the voice, the universe. You are beyond words. The story that is written. The book to be read. The one revealed.

Playing this song on my guitar, I realized truth is what survives. The rest of the song provides an answer that is the basis for my writing, and life, as a chance to share such inspiration.

A cherry when it’s blooming, It has no stone

Writing and publishing books, magazines and newspapers since I was 13,  even that young when starting Renegade Company I understood books were powerful magic. Igniting imaginations, they touch people with messages and images. Writing fiction, I gravitated to novels based in human experience; powerful and compelling. Writing how-to and self-help books, I learned an author doesn’t enlighten anyone. The reader, looking for a way to make life better searches for answers, finding them in a book. Readers are the true how-to, and the real self help. Seeking answers, they change their life, not the author.

Writing fiction is much the same. The reader is the story. Novels are a road, the reader is the driver. Readers discover their own story in a novel. A person reads into a book. They put themselves in the story. Always. The book is the house, the reader the occupant. A house without someone living there? Not a home.

From the pure sweetness of two enchanting faeries in Wild Mountain Thyme, to the enduring nature of real love in The Faire, to the darkest evil in the Demonic Investigator books, I write what a real book must be. Truth that will last forever. I am writing from my spirit, my soul, and I am writing books that are not like any others. None of my books are about today. They are about forever. They will be a riddle like the one above. the stories I write are about you. They have no end as your story is eternal.
